Balcony Gardens

Hello and welcome,

I read a very interesting gardening trend report in 2019. In it, it stated that “70% of the world’s population will live in cities by 2050.” And that, “…more than half the world lives in cities today.”

We may see green walls more often in and on many buildings, we enjoy spaces with perhaps a smaller carbon footprint, and we may live high up in a tall building overlooking spectacular scenery of a city. We see herb gardens on roof tops of hospitals and restaurants. The scene of high rise gardening is well, on the rise already.

Installing container gardens on roof tops, balconies, and patios is one of my many plant passions, and one of my many plant related services. It is an amazing experience to walk out on a balcony filled with color and fragrances from a garden on your terrace. You would be amazed to see pollinating insects find their way to the rooftops to take advantage of flowers in your balcony gardens. And not to mention, the gardens look spectacular against sunny blue skies that high up!
